Easy 8.... Whew I never thought I'd say that!

I actually had a good walk today. My toes did not even try to shoot the bird at me! Felt good at the end. Went inside at the Healthplex and got in the cold bath a bit. Rebecca was in there too. She is WAY tougher than me. She got all the way in to her waist and just stayed there for a planned 10 minutes. I left her in there. My wimpy self just went in and out for a few and then off to other things. I finished in about 2 hours today. I was ok with that. Looking forward to next week. Everyone have a great week!

SWEET SIXTEEN!!!

It is soooooo sweet! ... because it is done! I did 16 miles...... do you hear me..... I am very sore today. I napped hard for an hour or so and then up and at 'em. I was great energy wise. I got some of the electrolyte capsules and tried those yesterday. I can not find any of the gatorade type drinks that I can drink without gagging. I have tried them all for years. I do not like gu... but have forced myself a few times.... beans are ok..... the orange are good, but I really do not like the sweet while on the jog, wog, WALK.... I like water!!!!! I do not like green eggs and ham... I do not like green gu and beans, I do not like gatorade or such... I do not like them SAM I AM... I will try the capsules again and see..... HOW SWEET it is to have done 16 miles... My friend says that is from the 4-way stop on Hwy 18 and Hinds Blvd in Raymond to the Pit Stop in Utica ( the 26 in from Utica to Metro Center!) IMPRESSIVE! Thanks "BLONDE ONE" for walking the last portion with me!!! You saved my spirits and did me good! I do not know that I would have been able to dig on without you yesterday. You are the trainer as well as "in training" now..... It is Official!

OK... I am not doing to great... I think it might be the rain... I am a sunshine girl... I like SOME rain... rainny days to slum and relax.... BUT DANG! I confess. . . sunshine helps me feel better. I really need a GOOD FIX! Went to the Mississippi Gulf Coast this week end to see my niece play softball. I have been several times since Katrina to feed people etc, but never gone down and driven along 90. We did that Sunday morn. It is so unreal. still.... Have a good week all...
