I did the 1/2!

It was so great seeing everyone again! I had started off pretty good....We were approaching MILE 2..... the road was uneven and I took my eyes to the side looking for the "2 Mile" sign. I stepped as if I had missed the edge of a step (that is how uneven the pavement was there) and kissed the pavement! Yes... I am sure it was not a pretty site! My ankle popped under... kinda rolled...and I was on the ground! After I caught my breath..... a hand reached down to help me up and I thought I might be able to continue on. I convinced my friends to go on so I would not feel I had to push and they could go on to "run their own races".... They reluctently did. I was relieved...... took it quite slow a while and then was able to pick it up a bit. I had not been training so I guess I am lucky I even did that much. I am starting back up though! It was so great seeing everyone. I am hoping to work it out to do MM08. I am working on my $ situation.... Hope to see you there! Lisa
