I did the 1/2!
It was so great seeing everyone again! I had started off pretty good....We were approaching MILE 2..... the road was uneven and I took my eyes to the side looking for the "2 Mile" sign. I stepped as if I had missed the edge of a step (that is how uneven the pavement was there) and kissed the pavement! Yes... I am sure it was not a pretty site! My ankle popped under... kinda rolled...and I was on the ground! After I caught my breath..... a hand reached down to help me up and I thought I might be able to continue on. I convinced my friends to go on so I would not feel I had to push and they could go on to "run their own races".... They reluctently did. I was relieved...... took it quite slow a while and then was able to pick it up a bit. I had not been training so I guess I am lucky I even did that much. I am starting back up though!
It was so great seeing everyone.
I am hoping to work it out to do MM08. I am working on my $ situation.... Hope to see you there!

Hey Lisa Davis, it's Lisa Davis. Congratulations! Way to beat adversity, grit your teeth and finish. Hope you can do LMM this year. It wouldn't be the same being the only Lisa Davis.
