Raymond's Cannonball Run

Here is a "ROUGH" map that I pasted and attached some info on to hopefully get everyone to the right place Saturday morning. According to John Barber, Chamber Pres in Raymond, check-in and registration will be in front of the old Raymond Hardware in the shopping center in Raymond. The race will either begin there or as scheduled, it will begin just down the road at the Confederate Cemetary. There is a carwash there close, but it will be better to park either at the Raymond Baptist Church (just behind the shopping center) or perhaps some could park at the Raymond Elementary and double up to get a little closer at the RBC. Parking will be tight. Mr Barber says they are expecting over 200 for the race. That is a lot if everyone has individual cars (when added to the "FAIR" traffic as well. The race will end at the square, so you will be right there. See YA there! Lisa

Oh my God, you are awesome! Thank you so much! I have never been to Raymond and would for sure have gotten lost. Thank you so much for saving me and other MMers!

Obviously you are the web master here, as I am doing good to just post a comment. Great directions, great map. Thanks! And, I appreciate your insight on the potential rude Raymond man. I think I will just do as Kayra, embrace my new after-marathon training smell, smile, and just ignore him and any comments he makes. Okay, I am 47 and I am moving on. I will make a point to introduce myself to you and Kayra on Saturday. I am ALWAYS wearing a soffe skirt over compression shorts at MM training. Can't miss me! Who else at MM wears a skirt!

Thanks for the map. I am trying not to read anything into the fact that the race starts in a cemetary...well as long as it doesn't end up there (ha!).
We still have to meet. You said in one of my first blogs that you'd guard the bathroom door for me in Chicago and I'm still holding you to that!
